Nam đồng tính là đối tượng chịu nhiều sự kì thị và phân biệt đối xử từ những người dị tính trong xã hội, thậm chí từ chính những thành viên trong gia đình của họ. Do vậy quá trình biểu lộ xu hướng giới tính của họ gặp rất nhiều khó khăn, nhưng đó luôn là mong ước và khát khao thực hiện của nhóm đối tượng này.
Nhằm tìm hiểu quan niệm và phương thức biểu lộ của đối tượng nam thanh thiếu niên đồng tính tại Hà Nội, chúng tôi thực hiện một nghiên cứu định tính với phương pháp chọn mẫu “Hòn tuyết lăn” và áp dụng phỏng vấn sâu trên 15 đối tượng nam thanh thiếu niên đồng tính, độ tuổi 18 – 25 đang sinh sống tại Hà Nội.
Kết quả nghiên cứu cho thấy thanh thiếu niên đồng tính nam có quan niệm khác nhau về biểu lộ giới tính. Phần lớn đối tượng vì rào cản gia đình xã hội nên không muôn biểu lộ xu hướng giới tính. Trong khi đó một số người sẵn sàng biểu lộ khi đã vượt qua rào cản của gia đình. Một số ít người chỉ biểu lộ với một hoặc một vài người thân quen. Phương thức biểu lộ xu hướng giới tính có sự khác biệt rất lớn tùy theo từng độ tuổi. Mỗi độ tuổi lại có những phương thức biểu lộ xu hướng tính dục khác nhau.
Từ những đánh giá trên cần đề xuất các chương trình can thiệp chú ý hơn trong việc bổ sung kiến thức về giới với những người thân trong gia đình, để họ có cái nhìn khách quan và khoa học hơn khi các bạn đồng tính nam biểu hiện bộc lộ xu hướng giới tính và các can thiệp của các nhóm công tác xã hội cũng nên hỗ trợ kịp thời đến cộng đồng của người đồng tính nam.

The majority of objects because of family social barriers should not for ever manifest gender trend. While there are some who are willing to manifest when passed the barrier of the family. Only a few people expressed with one or a few people familiar. The trend expression method of gender have huge difference depending on the age. The age of each method reveals different sexual inclinations.From the reviews on the proposed intervention program more attention in the additional knowledge of the world with the ones in the family, so that they are objective and scientific perspective than when you gays expression revealed the trend of gender and the intervention of social groups should also timely support to the community of gay people South.
