Cô đơn là cho đi mà không có người nhận, là muốn nhận mà chẳng có ai cho. Cô đơn là chờ đợi, mà cái mình chờ đợi chẳng xảy đến. Như hai bờ sông nhìn nhau mà vẫn nghìn trùng cách xa bởi dòng sông, nên cô đơn là gần nhau mà vẫ...n cách biệt. Không phải cách biệt của không gian mà là cách biệt của cõi lòng. Bởi đó,người yêu có thể cô đơn ngay khi ở bên nhau.
Càng gần nhau mà vẫn cách biệt thì nỗi cô đơn càng cay nghiệt. Đã cay nghiệt mà vẫn phải gần nhau thì lại càng cô đơn hơn.
