Nguyên liệu than sử dụng (đặc biệt là than trắng) rất khó bắt lửa. tuy nhiên chủ dự án cũng sẽ lắp đặt 1 hệ thống PCCC báo động cháy nổ bên trong kho than để ngăn ngừa sự cố cháy nổ.
