Ngoài học ở trên lớp các trường đại học còn tổ chức nhiều giờ ngoại khoá cho sinh viên để rèn luyện khả năng nói, giao tiếp tiếng anh như tổ chức câu lạc bộ tiếng anh, giao lưu học hỏi những người ngoại quốc sang việt nam,... nếu sinh viên càng tham gia nhiều hoạt động ngoại khóa thì quá trình học tập sẽ tốt hơn, kinh nghiệm nhiều hơn, sau này ra xin việc làm sẽ dễ dàng hơn.
