Water resources are sources of water that humans use or can be used in different purposes. The water used in agricultural operations, industrial, residential, recreational and environmental. Most of these activities require fresh water. 97% of the water on Earth is salt water, only 3% is fresh water, but closer than 2/3 of it exists in the form of glaciers and ice caps in the extreme.
