Với “vốn liếng” làm việc tới 24 năm ở Tổng Công ty, tôi có điều kiện học hỏi rất nhiều kinh nghiệm và sáng kiến làm việc của các anh chị em đồng nghiệp. Lãnh đạo Nhà máy và Tổng Công ty cũng luôn xuống tận nơi để trò chuyện thăm hỏi và chia sẻ kiến thức làm việc với chúng tôi. Qua các kỳ thi thợ giỏi ở đơn vị và Ngành, tôi cũng tích lũy thêm các kỹ năng nghề nghiệp khác. Tôi tự hào vì mình sinh ra ở vùng đất dệt may, trong gia đình cũng có truyền thống làm nghề này. Mẹ tôi là công nhân dệt, gắn cả đời mẹ với dệt. Tôi thấy mình có nhiều lợi thế trong nghề, ngoài tay nghề cao, còn là tình yêu và tính ham làm việc của mình. Tình yêu nghề cứ tăng dần theo năm tháng. Năm 2010 tôi rất vinh dự đoạt Giải thưởng Thợ giỏi Ngành DM và Bằng khen của Công Đoàn DMVN. Nghề này còn rèn cho tôi thể lực dẻo dai, do mỗi ngày đi bộ 8 tiếng triền miên, đứng 12 máy sợi con, thay tới 1000 quả sợi. Do vận động nhiều, chế độ ăn uống tốt nên tuy vóc người nhỏ mà tôi lại khỏe, ít khi ốm đau, luôn đảm bảo thời gian làm việc. Lãnh đạo Nhà máy cũng đánh giá cao sự cố gắng của tôi nên tôi đã được lên vị trí Tổ trưởng, kiêm Tổ trưởng Công đoàn. Với việc quản lý, tôi học thêm được những kỹ năng hữu ích, luôn sâu sát, gần gũi đồng nghiệp, động viên, giúp đỡ mọi người cùng tiến bộ.
