Công ty Cổ phần dịch vụ Môi trường Thăng Long đã được UBND TP Hà Nội chỉ đạo thực hiện đầu tư dây chuyền xử lý rác thải (giai đoạn 1), với công suất 300 tấn/ngày tại Nhà máy xử lý chất thải Sơn Tây. Sau gần 2 năm dây chuyền này đã được vận hành chính thức xử lý rác cho thành phố từ 1/2012.

Song song với việc thiết kế cải tạo thiết bị dây chuyền xử lý rác thải thế hệ 1, Công ty Cổ phần dịch vụ Môi trường Thăng Long đã nghiên cứu hoàn thiện quy trình công nghệ và thiết kế thiết bị thế hệ 2 để báo cáo UBND TP Hà Nội cho phép đầu tư giai đoạn 2 dây chuyền xử lý rác mới có công suất xử lý 400 tấn/ngày.
