Theo ông Fabio De Jesus Linares Passos, Giám đốc Phòng thí nghiệm Tập đoàn dược phẩm Labiofam– Cuba, thực tế công dụng đặc biệt của nọc bọ cạp đã được giới y học trên thế giới chú ý từ rất lâu. Tại Hoa Kỳ, các nhà khoa học cũng đang trong giai đoạn nghiên cứu, phát triển các chế phẩm từ nọc bọ cạp.
