Đối với các sinh viên năm cuối ở các trường đại học, sau khi đã hoàn thành các bộ môn đại cương cũng như chuyên ngành thì sẽ có 2 tháng để tiến hành thực tập tốt nghiệp. Đây được xem là một môn học bắt buộc cho tất cả các sinh viên, giúp cho mỗi sinh viên bước đầu làm quen với những công việc cụ thể của chuyên ngành biên phiên dịch và học hỏi kinh nghiệm trước khi ra thực tế làm việc. Qua đợt thực tập này, sinh viên sẽ có cơ hội được thâm nhập vào thực tế, tìm hiểu rõ ràng hơn và cụ thể hơn những công việc mình sẽ làm trong tương lai. Đồng thời, cũng giúp cho sinh viên áp dụng những lý thuyết đã được học ở trường trong các năm học vừa qua vào thực tiễn công việc. Thực tập tốt nghiệp giúp tạo cơ hội cho sinh viên được củng cố, học hỏi và bổ sung thêm những kĩ năng còn thiếu trong lĩnh vực chuyên môn.
