Đóng góp tham luận tại Diễn đàn Kinh tế Mùa xuân năm 2015 năm nay, chuyên gia kinh tế Bùi Trinh và Nguyễn Huy Minh đã chỉ ra nghịch lý, mặc dù được hưởng nhiều ưu đãi, song sự đóng góp vào tăng trưởng của khối doanh nghiệp có vốn đầu tư nước ngoài (FDI) lại rất thấp với hàng loạt các chiêu trò chuyển giá, lãi thật lỗ giả.
Trên thực tế, hàng loạt các "ông lớn" FDI sau hàng chục năm hoạt động tại thị trường Việt Nam dù liên tục rót vốn mở rộng hoạt động kinh doanh, sản phẩm được nhiều người sử dụng... nhưng vẫn liên tục báo lỗ và không thực hiện nghĩa vụ đóng thuế.
