Đền thời Ama là một trong những ngôi chùa lâu đời nhất và nổi tiếng nhất của Đạo giáo nằm ở phía Tây Nam của Ma Cao. Đền A Ma được xây dựng vào năm 1488 thời nhà Minh và là nơi thờ Mazu - nữ thần biển bảo vệ cho các ngư dân của thành phố. Theo truyền thuyết, một cô gái nghèo tên A Ma đã bị các chủ tàu giàu có không cho lên tàu khi đang tìm đường sang Quảng Châu. Thế nhưng một ngư dân nghèo khó đã đồng ý cho cô đi nhờ. Sau khi khởi hành, một cơn bão đã làm chìm tất cả các tàu chỉ duy nhất chiếc thuyền chở A Ma bình yên vô sự về đến đất liền. Mặc dù được xây dựng từ thời nhà Minh nhưng cho đến nay ngôi đền vẫn còn giữ được nguyên vẹn những nét đẹp ban đầu. Đền thờ Ama cũng đã được xếp hạng là Di sản văn hóa thế giới cùng năm với di tích Nhà thờ thánh Paul
