Quận Long Bien: Thi đua là động lực phát triển kinh tế- xã hội.
6 tháng đầu năm, quận Long Bien đã đẩy mạnh các phong trào thi đua trên các mặt công tác. Kết quả, các chỉ tiêu kinh tế xã hội cơ bản đều đạt và vượt so với kế hoạch. Nhiều chỉ tiêu đạt cao hơn so với cùng kỳ năm 2014. Các lĩnh vực văn hóa xã hội có nhiều chuyển biến tích cực, hiệu quả.
Phong trào thi đua phát triển kinh tế đã góp phần giúp kinh tế quận tiếp tục tăng trưởng: Tổng mức bán lẻ hàng hóa 6 tháng đầu năm ước đạt 3.804 tỷ đồng, đạt 56% kế hoạch năm, bằng 128,6% cùng kỳ. Quận đã có thêm 300 doanh nghiệp thành lập mới và 600 hộ cá thể đăng ký kinh doanh mới. Thu ngân sách trên địa bàn nhà nước đạt kết quả cao, ước thực hiện đạt hơn 3.241 tỷ đồng, bằng 79% dự toán. Chi ngân sách ước đạt hơn 807 tỷ đồng, đạt 44% dự toán năm.
Thực hiện phong trào thi đua trong quản lý quy hoạch, đầu tư xây dựng cơ bản, GPMB: trong 6 tháng, quận đã phê duyệt chủ trương đầu tư 26/43 dự án, khởi công 29/41 dự án, quyết toán 24/31 dự án hoàn thành, bàn giao đưa vào sử dụng 36/41 dự án. Quận đã tiếp tục triển khai công tác GPMB 53 dự án, trong đó, có 6 dự án mới, 47 dự án chuyển tiếp. Thu hồi mặt bằng đảm bảo tiến độ triển khai 3 dự án chào mừng Đại hội đảng bộ các cấp, 2 dự án trọng điểm TP.
