QUY ĐỊNH CHUNG
Điều 1. Phạm vi điều chỉnh
Quy chế này quy định công tác quản lý người nước ngoài học tập tại Trường Đại học Hàng hải Việt Nam, bao gồm: điều kiện, trình tự tiếp nhận lưu học sinh; đào tạo và quản lý lưu học sinh; quyền lợi và trách nhiệm của lưu học sinh; tiếp nhận đào tạo và phục vụ lưu học sinh.
Điều 2. Đối tượng áp dụng
Quy chế này quy định công tác quản lý người nước ngoài học tập tại Trường Đại học Hàng hải Việt Nam bao gồm sinh viên cao đẳng, đại học; học viên chương trình đào tạo thạc sĩ; nghiên cứu sinh; học viên chương trình bồi dưỡng nâng cao trình độ; thực tập sinh (sau đây gọi chung là lưu học sinh).
Điều 3. Giải thích từ ngữ
Trong Văn bản này các từ ngữ dưới đây được hiểu như sau:
1. Lưu học sinh Hiệp định: là lưu học sinh người nước ngoài được tiếp nhận học tập tại Trường Đại học Hàng hải Việt Nam theo các Hiệp định, Thỏa thuận giữa nước Cộng hòa xã hội chủ nghĩa Việt Nam với các nước, vùng lãnh thổ, các tổ chức quốc tế và được Chính phủ Việt Nam cấp học bổng;
2. Lưu học sinh học bổng khác: là lưu học sinh người nước ngoài được các tổ chức, cá nhân tài trợ học bổng học tập tại Trường Đại học Hàng hải Việt Nam không thuộc đối tượng quy định tại khoản 1 Điều này;
3. Lưu học sinh tự túc: là lưu học sinh người nước ngoài được tiếp nhận học tập tại Trường Đại học Hàng hải Việt Nam theo thỏa thuận, hợp đồng đào tạo giữa Trường với các tổ chức, cá nhân người nước ngoài, người Việt Nam định cư ở nước ngoài và kinh phí học tập, đào tạo không sử dụng các nguồn học bổng như các đối tượng đã nêu tại khoản 1, khoản 2 Điều này.
Điều 4. Ngôn ngữ sử dụng trong giảng dạy và học tập
Lưu học sinh có thể học tập và nghiên cứu, thực tập bằng ngôn ngữ cụ thể theo từng ngành học, đối tượng học mà Trường Đại học Hàng hải Việt Nam được phép sử dụng trong đào tạo.

Applicable objectsThis regulation regulates the management of foreigners studying in Vietnam Maritime University, including students, University College; students master's training program; research students; Student enrichment programs advanced level; trainee (hereafter referred to collectively as the pupils). Article 3. Explanation of termsIn this document the terms below are interpreted as follows:1. save the student agreement: as pupils are receiving foreigners studying in Vietnam Maritime University, according to the agreement, the agreement between the Socialist Republic of Vietnam with the countries, territories, international organizations and the Government of Vietnam provided scholarships;2. save the other scholarship students: as pupils of foreign organizations and individuals who sponsor scholarship at the Vietnam Maritime University not subject to the provisions in clause 1 of this article;3. Pupils self-sufficiency: as pupils are receiving foreigners studying in Vietnam Maritime University under the agreement, the contract between training organisations, individual foreigners, Vietnam people settled abroad and academic funding, training does not use scholarship as the objects stated in clause 1 , paragraph 2 of this Article. Article 4. The language used in teaching and learningPupils can study and research, practical training in the language specific to each field of study, school subjects that Vietnam Maritime University are allowed to use in training.

General Provisions
Article 1. Scope of
Regulation stipulates the management of foreigners studying in Vietnam Maritime University, including the conditions and procedures to receive overseas students; management training and students; rights and responsibilities of the student; receive training and serve students.
Article 2. Subject to
the provisions of this Regulation the management of foreigners studying in Vietnam Maritime University include college students and universities; students master training program; Fellows; program participants improve their training; trainees (hereinafter referred to as students).
Article 3. Definitions
In this document the following terms are construed as follows:
1. Overseas students treaties: the foreign students who are admitted to study at Vietnam Maritime University under the Agreement, Agreement between the Republic of socialist Vietnam with other countries and territories , international organizations and the Government of Vietnam offer scholarships;
2. Save other scholarship students: students who are foreign organizations and individuals to sponsor a scholarship to study at Vietnam Maritime University are not subject to provisions of paragraph 1 of this Article
3. Overseas students are excluded: the foreign students are studying in receiving Vietnam Maritime University under the agreement, a contract between the School with training organizations and individual foreigners, who Vietnam residing abroad and funds for education, training unused scholarship resources as objects referred to in paragraph 1 and paragraph 2 of this Article.
Article 4 The language used in teaching and learning
Save School students can study and study and practice specific language for each area of study, the subjects learned that Vietnam Maritime University is allowed to use in training.
