Những ngày làm việc tại Việt Nam ông để lại trong chúng tôi sự thán phục, những bất ngờ thú vị và cùng với đó là tình cảm trìu mến của nhiều người Việt dành cho ông.
Luôn bất ngờ là điều mà nhiều người Việt cảm nhận trong chuyến thăm vừa qua. Bất ngờ, một biểu hiện của sự sáng tạo. Phẩm cách này luôn cần thiết cho phát triển của cá nhân, tổ chức, đất nước.
Lịch lãm, thân thiện trong tiếp xúc với mọi người, dù đó là lãnh đạo cấp cao hay những nữ sinh đón ông ở sân bay hay giới trẻ được đối thoại với ông và cả với người lao động bình thường.
Tôi và có lẽ nhiều người Việt nữa thật sự trân trọng và học được một phong cách - phong cách Obama.
Công việc của tập thể và tự do của cá nhân - một sự kết hợp tuyệt vời, cùng với đó là sự minh bạch, rõ ràng... kiểu Mỹ!.
