Tỷ trọng cho vay tín chấp trong tổng dư nợ cho vay tiêu dùng của PGD qua các năm ổn định theo hướng tăng chậm. Năm 2013 dư nợ cho vay tín chấp chỉ chiếm 11,5% (tương đương 25.416 triệu đồng), năm 2014 mặc dù nền kinh tế vẫn đang trong giai đoạn khó khăn, nhưng dư nợ cho vay tiêu dùng tại PGD vẫn tăng 48.209 triệu đồng, tăng 21,9% so với năm 2013, trong đó sản phẩm cho vay tín chấp tăng 2.709 triệu đồng, tăng 10,7% đóng góp 10,5% tổng dư nợ của phòng giao dịch.Trong năm 2014 phòng giao dịch đã có thêm nhiều khách hàng cá nhân từ các khu vực khác nhau có nhu cầu vay vốn.
Năm 2015 đang trên đà phục hồi nền kinh tế Việt Nam, hoạt động cho vay của ngân hàng có phần khởi sắc thể hiện ở tổng dư nợ cho vay của PGD năm 2015 tăng 0,6% (tương đương 1.521 triệu đồng) so với năm 2014. Trong đó dư nợ cho vay tín chấp khách hàng cá nhân tăng tương đối cao 18,3% (tương đương 5.143 triệu đồng), đóng góp 12,3% vào tổng dư nợ cho vay tiêu dùng.
Với kết quả đạt được năm 2015, VPBank-PDG quận Tân Bình đã hoàn thành kế hoạch đề ra nhưng chưa cao, trong đó sản phẩm cho vay tín chấp hoàn thành kế hoạch đề ra đóng góp số lượng khách hàng cá nhân tăng thêm đến với phòng giao dịch ngày càng nhiều. Dựa trên thực tế hiệu quả kinh doanh mà PGD đạt được thể hiện qua những số liệu trên, cho thấy rằng trong thời điểm kinh tế Việt Nam đang dần hồi phục và tăng trưởng, chuẩn bị bước chân vào ngưỡng cửa hội nhập kinh tế thế giới.
