SEAP Games lần thứ 5 diễn ra ở thành phố Yangon (Myanmar) từ ngày 6 đến 13/12/1969. 920 VĐV và quan chức đến từ 6 quốc gia tham gia thi đấu ở 15 môn. Nước chủ nhà Myanmar một lần nữa dẫn đầu bảng xếp hạng huy chương với 57 HCV, 46 HCB và 46 HCĐ, tiếp theo là Thái Lan và Singapore. Việt Nam đứng ở vị trí thứ 5 với 9 HCV, 5 HCB và 8 HCĐ.

SEAP Games 5th place in the city of Yangon (Myanmar) from 6 to 12/13/1969. 920 athletes and officials from 6 countries competed in 15 disciplines. Host Country Myanmar once again leading the medal standings with 57 gold medals, 46 silver medals and 46 bronze medals, followed by Thailand and Singapore. Vietnam was ranked 5th with 9 gold medals, 5 silver medals and 8 bronze medals.
