Con tàu Aphrodite bị cháy trị giá khoảng 30 tỉ đồng, toàn bộ con tàu và tài sản trên đó bị cháy rụi hoàn toàn. Được biết, đây là con tàu thứ 10 bị cháy từ trước đến nay tại tỉnh Quảng Ninh.
Liên quan đến vụ việc cháy tàu du lịch ở Hạ Long, UBND tỉnh Quảng Ninh cho biết các du khách gặp nạn vì vụ cháy tàu Aphrodite trên vịnh Hạ Long sáng cùng ngày đều đã được đảm bảo an toàn. Hơn 40 người trên tàu có 37 khách nước ngoài đến từ Đài Loan, Pháp, Thụy Sỹ, Anh, New Zealand, Hàn Quốc, Ấn Độ. 33 người mạnh khỏe đã được đưa về Hà Nội.
