Bài nghiên cứu này taapk trung phân tích đánh giá bản dịch tiếng Việt của sáu tuyện ngắn Mỹ trích từ tập truyện “Chicken Soup for the Soul” của hai nhà văn Jack Canfield và Mark Victory Hansen nhóm dịch giả: Tôn Thất Lan, Ngọc Diệp, và Ngô Thảo Nguyên. Trên cơ sở phân tochs đánh giá cách giải quyết của các dịch giả về tám vấn đề tiêu biểu có thể nảy sinh trong quá trình dịch Anh Việt, bài viết sẽ đưa ra kết luận về tính chất thỏa đáng của bản dịch. Phần cuối của bài nghiên cứu sẽ đưa ra một số đề xuất cho những vấn đề chưa giải quyết thỏa đáng.
