Life is a game, yes. We created games to imitate the way life works--"play" is rehearsal for life. Not any game, though: it's a 24/7 MMO with clearly defined rules (such and such things will kill you, such and such things will make you stronger) and objectives (to find love, to accumulate money, to learn, to leave descendants). We all play the game whether we realize it or not.Like in a video game, the best "players" in life know how and when to take risks. They never lose sight of the end goals and never, EVER, give up. They understand that grinding and teamwork are a necessity and that planning ahead can greatly affect the outcome of any adventure. In the end, taking life less seriously is healthier than obsessing about every little thing. We need to "play" life instead of endure it. We need to strive for greatness and have fun doing it. That's the only way to collect the achievements we all seek: security, fulfillment, love, brotherhood.Written 14 Jan 2011 • View Upvotes
