Qua thăm dò ý kiến của nhiều đồng nghiệp và học sinh, đồng thời qua thực tế giảng dạy, tôi nhận thấy học sinh khi học Tiếng Anh từ bậc trung học cơ sở đến hết lớp 11 của bậc THPT hầu như không được học về trọng âm Tiếng Anh. Hầu hết giáo viên không có thời gian hoặc không chú ý hướng dẫn cho học sinh về vấn đề này. khi Giáo viên chữa lỗi cho học sinh chỉ chú ý đến cách dùng từ, lỗi ngữ pháp hoặc lỗi phát âm sai chứ không chữa lỗi về nhấn trọng âm. Hầu hết học sinh không có khái niệm về nhấn trọng âm khi phát âm Tiếng Anh

Through surveys of many colleagues and students, and through practical teaching, I found that students learning English from junior high school through grade 11 of high school barely learn about key sound English. Most teachers do not have time or do not pay attention to student guidance on this issue. Teachers fix when students only pay attention to the wording, grammatical errors or mispronounced error correction on press and not stress. Most students do not have the concept of press accent when pronouncing English
