Phù hợp xu thế chung của quốc tế gọi họ là nhà cung ứng dịch vụ Logistics nên Việt Nam đã ban hành Luật thương mại 2005 trong đó quy định rõ trách nhiệm của các bên trong hoạt động dịch vụ Logistics (bao hàm cả khái niệm giao nhận hàng hóa).
