Tính toán giãn nở chiều dài của Nozzle- Chiều dài thực của Nozzle =L + ΔL + q
Trong đó:
L: là chiều dài loại Nozzle được lựa chọn 
ΔL: là giá trị giãn nở nhiệt của Nozzle 
q: là khe hở miệng phun 
- Giá trị ΔL được xác định như sau:
ΔL= LF – LD = LD x α x (TR – TF) (mm)
Trong đó:
LD là chiều dài Nozzle (mm)
LF là chiều dài Nozzle lúc giãn nở (mm)
α là hệ số giãn nở nhiệt của vật liệu (1/°C)
