 What are you learn in Master course?
We have total seven lessons in this Taiwan trip. Each lesson brought to me lots of knowledge related to many different fields. But all are useful for my current job.
- The first day, we were sent to field trip at AU Optronics Corp. There were a lot of new things there. But, I think all company in Taiwan take care health more than Safety. Perhaps that in here, Safety has become a culture. So, they spend more time and budget caring worker’s health.
- The second lesson related to Respiratory protection. One of all Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) which is very important. I feel this is very interesting lesson. In there, we have a chance for try to use the Respiratory protection and get familiar with new equipment which using to assess the appropriate level of my masks. In addition to teaching method of Professor Lee made me feel very excited during lesson.
- The third lesson is Noise Management. This lesson helps me know how to reduce the noise at workplace and how to choose approximately PPE for works.
- The fourth lesson is Environmental Nanotechnology. In my opinion, this lesson is very difficult for understanding because it is not so much related to my major. However, it gave me more knowledge. The teacher is very funny
- The fifth lesson is Waste to Resource Technologies. I and my classmates were sent to laboratory and he taught me a lot of thing and showed for us some special systems in laboratory. I’m very interesting about that
- The sixth lesson is Indoor Air Quality. This lesson is very useful for my job. It helps me assess working environment where workers work inside there. After this lesson, I answer some questions such as “What do we mean by good Indoor Air Quality (IAQ)?”;”When are IAQ complaints most likely?;” Why is ventilation important?”;”Why should air testing be done?”, …. The most important after finishing this lesson is how to prevent IAQ problems. When I studied this lesson, I had a feeling that Professor Chang want to convey the entire knowledge and his experiences for me and everyone.
- The last lesson which is the most important lesson is Occupational Safety. It was taught by Professor Chia. I got the impression from her first day in the tour of the factory.
Finally, I want to say thank all of Professor and Doctor in FengChia University because all the knowledge and experience which they bring to me. I will take it away with me in my life and my work.
