Chia sẻ về mục đích từ thiện, Như Quỳnh - Phó Chủ tịch phụ trách tài chính và Thu Lê - Phó Chủ tịch phụ trách nguồn nhân sự của MOVSA cho hay, cả hai đều cảm thấy vui và đây là một việc làm có ích nhân dịp Tết 2012.

Như Quỳnh cho biết, chương trình từ thiện mang tên “Tết làm điều hay” bắt đầu khởi động từ ngày 19.11, nhưng trước đó, các thành viên của MOVSA đã kêu gọi sự tham gia của các du học sinh thông qua Facebook hoặc trang web của hội.

Không chỉ kêu gọi, các thành viên của MOVSA còn hướng dẫn tận tình thời gian, địa điểm, cách đi và bắt xe cho những du học sinh Việt muốn quyên góp đồ, tham gia từ thiện.

“Bọn mình có 3 buổi nhận quyên góp vào các ngày 19, 20 và 24.11 tại Lincoln Square cạnh Đại học Melbourne. Để các bạn không bỡ ngỡ khi tới điểm thu đồ, trong thông báo gửi tới mọi người, bọn mình đã chỉ rõ số các tuyến xe điện tới Lincoln Square”, Như Quỳnh cho biết.
