Nên tránh dùng pentoxifylin trong xuất huyết não, xuất huyết võng mạc nặng, loạn nhịp tim nặng và nhồi máu cơ tim cấp. Nên dùng thuốc thận trọng ở người bệnh cơ tim thiếu máu cục bộ hoặc hạ huyết áp.

Should avoid taking pentoxifylline in brain hemorrhage, severe retinal hemorrhages, severe arrhythmias and acute myocardial infarction. Drug should be used with caution in patients with myocardial ischemia or hypotension.
