Sinh viên có cơ hội học tập, giao lưu trong các hoạt động ngoại khóa.
Trường có nhiều lựa chọn nơi ở với chi phí phải chăng cho sinh viên quốc tế nằm trong khuôn viên trường hoặc khu vực xung quanh. Khi sống tại Wollongong, sinh viên quốc tế có thể di chuyển dễ dàng tới các địa điểm xung quanh trường hay những thành phố lớn vào các ngày trong tuần với xe bus Gong Shuttle.

Hiện nay, UOW có những lớp học dành cho bậc cử nhân chuyên ngành: luật, nhân văn, nghệ thuật với giảng viên Dr Debra Dudek, giảng viên cao cấp Văn học Anh tại ĐH Wollongong, Giám đốc trung tâm nghiên cứu Canada - Australia.

Lớp học phản ánh những kiến thức mới về lĩnh vực truyền thông và các phương tiện truyền thông, khoa học xã hội, nhân văn, nghệ thuật cùng những tư vấn giúp sinh viên chuẩn bị kỹ năng cần thiết cho công việc tương lai.
