Dinh Thống Nhất nằm giữa trung tâm thành phố, ở địa chỉ số 135 đường Nam Kỳ Khởi Nghĩa, phường Bến Thành, Quận 1, Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh, Việt nam.
Lịch sử
Năm 1868,pháp bắt đầu thiết kế và xây dựng tại trung tâm thành phố Sài Gòn mộ dinh thự làm Dinh thống đốc dặt tên là Dinh NORODOM. Năm 1954 đổi tên thành dinh độc lập. Tháng 11 năm 1975, Hội nghị hiệp thương chính trị thống nhất hai miền Nam Bắc đã diễn ra tại đây. Sau hội nghị này, Dinh được đổi tên thành Hội trường Thống nhất hay Dinh Thống nhất.
Kiến trúc
Kiến trúc sư Ngô Viết Thụ đã kết hợp hài hoà giữa nghệ thuật kiến trúc hiện đại với kiến trúc truyền thống phương Đông. Toàn thể bình diện của Dinh làm thành hình chữ "CáT", có nghĩa là tốt lành, may mắn. Đi vào bên trong Dinh, tất cả các đường nét kiến trúc đều dùng đường ngay sổ thẳng. Dinh có diện tích 120.000m2 (300m x 400m), được giới hạn bởi bốn trục đường chính.
Văn hóa
Mỗi năm, Dinh đón khoảng 500.000 du khách đến chiêm ngưỡng công trình kiến trúc và tìm hiểu về những giá trị lịch sử gắn liền với nó. Dinh Thống nhất là di tích lịch sử văn hóa nổi tiếng được đông đảo du khách trong nước và nước ngoài đến tham quan và là nơi hội họp, tiếp khách của các cấp lãnh đạo rung ưng song các cấp thành phố
