Hiện nay dự án đang trong giai đoạn xây dựng cơ sở dữ liệu đất đai cho 09 huyện, thị xã, thành phố trong đó chọn thị xã Thuận An làm huyện điểm để đánh giá, rút kinh nghiệm thực hiện cho các huyện, thị xã, thành phố còn lại. Dự án dự kiến hoàn thành vào cuối năm 2015 với những hiệu quả mang lại cụ thể như sau:
