Phường Kim Long là một phường nằm ở phía Tây Thành phố Huế, bên bờ của Bắc Sông Hương. Trước đây là xã Xuân Long, đến năm 1983, được đổi tên từ thành phường Kim Long,
Phía Bắc: Giáp phường An Hòa.
Phía Đông: Giáp phường Phú Thuận.
Phía Nam: Giáp Sông Hương - phường Phường Đúc.
Phía Tây: Giáp phường Hương Long.
Phường có diện tích 2,48 km², dân số năm 2015 là 15688 người,[1] mật độ dân số đạt 4858 người/km². Có 6 khu vực dân cư với 21 tổ dân phố.
