Tài liệu hết hiệu lực được gạch chéo trên trang đầu tài liệu và được Ban ISO ghi chú “Hết hiệu lực” bên cạnh đường gạch chéo. Tài liệu hết hiệu lực phải được thu hồi, huỷ bỏ hoặc cho vào file riêng (nếu cần thiết phục vụ cho việc tham khảo)

The document expired are crossed on the first page of the document and the ISO Committee notes "expired" next to the road crossed. The document expired should be revoked, cancelled or give in to the private file (if needed for reference)
