- Căn cứ Công văn 4984/SQHKT-TTTTQH ngày 30 tháng 12 năm 2013 của Sở Quy hoạch – Kiến trúc về việc báo cáo chuyến đi công tác tỉnh Champasak (Lào), tháng 12/2013;
- Căn cứ Công văn số 1471/UBND-ĐTMT ngày 08 tháng 4 năm 2014 của Ủy ban nhân dân Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh về kế hoạch thực hiện hỗ trợ tỉnh Champasak (Lào) lập quy hoạch xây dựng thị trấn Paksong.
- Căn cứ Quyết định số 708/QĐ-SQHKT ngày 09/03/2015 của Sở Quy hoạch – Kiến trúc về thành lập Ban Tổ chức thi tuyển ý tưởng “Lập Quy Hoạch phân Khu Thị Trấn Paksong ”.
- Căn cứ Biên bản ghi nhớ ngày 20/01/2015 giữa Giữa Đoàn công tác Ủy ban tổ chức lập quy hoạch huyện Paksong tỉnh Champasak, Lào và Sở Quy hoạch - Kiến trúc TP. Hồ Chí Minh.
