Tỉnh Sơn La đã triển khai đề án "Bảo tồn, phát huy các điệu múa cổ dân tộc Thái". Đây là một trong các đề án được Bộ Văn hóa, Thể thao và Du lịch hỗ trợ, nhằm giữ gìn, phát huy bản sắc văn hóa các dân tộc trong tỉnh Sơn La, đồng thời tăng cường giao lưu sản phẩm văn hóa đặc sắc của các dân tộc Sơn La với bạn bè trong nước và quốc tế.
