Thời trang đâu chỉ nói riêng góc nhìn nghệ thuật hay gu thẩm mỹ, chúng còn gắn bó lối sống và toát lên được tinh thần và suy nghĩ của thời đại. Ngay sau thời kỳ vàng son của thời trang trong thập kỷ 1960, thập kỷ 70 ghi dấu tháng năm vui vẻ của những người trẻ nổi loạn, thích lối sống gần gũi với thiên nhiên, đòi tự do và hòa bình cho nhân loại. Đây là một trong các chủ đề mang đến cho tôi nhiều hứng thú.
Nhắc đến mốc thời gian này, tôi lại nhớ ngay đến cặp đôi nổi tiếng của giới nghệ thuật John Lennon và Yoko Ono. Tình yêu tốn bao giấy mực của báo giới giữa linh hồn nhóm The Beatles cùng người vợ nghệ sỹ đồng điệu trong mọi hoạt động nghệ thuật lẫn tranh đấu cho hòa bình, đã tạo nên cảm xúc ấm áp, sự khích lệ cho hàng triệu người cùng chí hướng khắp thế giới trong thời gian ấy.
