- Kiểm soát tài liệu nhằm đảm bảo tài liệu được cập nhật mới nhất được dùng cho việc thiết kế, thi công và chế tạo lắp đặt. Việc kiểm soát tài liệu được thiết lập và duy trì:
- Tất cả các bộ phận (thiết kế, mua vật tư, chế tạo và lắp dựng …) phải thiết lập và duy trì danh mục các tài liệu liên quan tới công việc của bộ phận mình.
- Việc xem xét và thông qua các tài liệu trước khi xuất bản dược tiến hành bởi Chỉ huy trưởng công trường.
- Các tài liệu lỗi thời phải được thông báo và loại bỏ.
- Các thay đổi phải được xem xét bởi các bộ phận liên quan trước khi chỉ huy trưởng công trường phê duyệt.
