Nissan BladeGlider là chiếc xe thể thao hoàn toàn chạy điện, không gây ô nhiễm khí thải ra môi trường. Dự án về động lực được Nissan bắt tay với đối tác kỹ thuật Williams Advanced Engineering ở Anh quốc. Những bản prototype đầu tiên này có khả năng vượt trên 190km/h và tăng tốc 0-100km/h dưới 5 giây. Hai bánh sau đảm nhiệm dẫn động chiếc xe, nhờ hai động cơ điện 130kW – mỗi động cơ dẫn động một bánh xe. Hệ thống kiểm soát hướng mô-men xoắn giúp chiếc xe vận hành ổn định. Tổng công suất hệ thống là 268 mã lực, mô-men xoắn 707Nm.
