Phía sau nhà hát là một phòng quản trị, có 18 buồng cho diễn viên hoá trang, 2 phòng tập hát, 1 thư viện và phòng họp. Phía mặt trước trên tầng II là phòng gương rất lộng lẫy. Kinh phí xây dựng Nhà hát được duyệt vào lúc đó là 2.000.000 Frăng Pháp.
Nhà hát lúc đó được sử dụng là nơi biểu diễn các loại hình nghệ thuật cố điển như Opera, nhạc thính phòng, kịch nói... phục vụ cho tầng lớp quan lại thượng lưu người Pháp và một số ít người Việt giàu có. Lịch biểu diễn thời đó một tuần có 4 lần vào thứ ba, thứ năm, thứ bảy và chủ nhật.
