Đề tài “Ảnh hưởng của giống, lương phân đạm, lân, kali đến sinh trưởng, năng suất dưa leo (Cucumis sativus L.) trên đất xám tại tỉnh Gia” đã được thực hiện tại thành phố Pleiku, tỉnh Gia Lai từ tháng 11 năm 2014 đến tháng 02 năm 2015 nhằm xác định được giống dưa leo, lượng phân đạm, lân và kali thích hợp cho cây dưa leo sinh trưởng tốt đạt năng suất và mang lại hiệu quả kinh tế tốt nhất cho nông dân trồng dưa leo tại thành phố Pleiku, tỉnh Gia Lai.
Đề tài gồm hai thí nghiệm hai yếu tố được bố trí theo kiểu lô phụ, ba lần lặp lại. Thí nghiệm thứ nhất nhằm xác định giống và lượng phân và lân thích hợp đến sinh trưởng và năng suất dưa leo với lô chính (A) là ba giống dưa leo (NH 815 (đ/c); TN 327; TN 172); lô phụ (B) là bốn mức phân lân (70; 95 (đ/c); 120 145 kg P2O5/ha. Thí nghiệm thứ hai nhằm xác định lượng phân đạm và kali thích hợp đến sinh trưởng và năng suất dưa leo với lô chính (A) là bốn mức phân kali (115; 155 (đ/c); 195; 235 kg K2O/ha); lô phụ (B) là bốn mức phân đạm (110; 150 (đ/c); 190; 230 kgN/ha).
Kết quả cho thấy, ở thí nghiệm xác định giống và phân lân thích hợp cho sinh trưởng và năng suất dưa leo, trên nền phân bón 500 kg vôi/ha +15 tấn phân chuồng/ha + 150 kg N/ha + 155 kg K2O/ha cây dưa leo sinh trưởng phát triển tốt cho năng suất (39,86 tấn/ha), lợi nhuận (126.644.890 đồng) và tỉ suất lợi nhuận (1,57) đạt kết quả cao nhất khi được trồng giống NH815và 145 kg P2O5/ha.
Đối với thí nghiệm xác định lượng phân kali và phân đạm thích hợp đến sinh trưởng và năng suất cây dưa leo, kết quả cho thấy trên nền phân bón 500 kg vôi/ha + 15 tấn phân chuồng/ha + 95 kg P2O5/ha cây dưa leo sinh trưởng phát triển tốt và cho năng suất cao nhất (47,77 tấn/ha), lợi nhuận thu được 180.436.155 đồng/ha và tỉ suất lợi nhuận đạt được là 2,38 khi được bón thúc 195 kg K2O và 190 kg N/ha.
