The figures on the Nazca plateau (on the ground) that make up a "geometrical gardening" in the Nazca desert, a desert expanse 53 miles between the two towns of Nazca and Palpa on the Pampas de Jumana (a flat area in the South of Peru). The paintings include hummingbirds, monkeys, spiders and lizards, but that's just the name of over 300 paintings. They were created during the period of the Nazca culture in the area, between 200 BC and 600 years. The figures on the Nazca plateau is photographed for the first time when commercial aircraft to fly over Peruvian desert in the 1920s. The passengers said they saw "the original Strip" on the ground below. When gravel was swept away, they reflected the light below, in this way, the lines can be seen more clearly. Archaeologists have discovered a lost city is outside now, it's Cahuachi. It was built in about 2000 years ago and mysteriously abandoned 500 years later. The historian Pedro de Cieza de León in the 1st army conquered by Spain in the Americas was referring to this figure for the first time in 1547. He described a singular path is created on the hillsides, where people can see the entire picture without having to observe from the plane. Modern times, this lines was first noticed when the plane began flying across the Peruvian desert in the 1920s. In 1927, Toribio Mejia Xespe, a physician and anthropologist who is Peru's first scientist pay close attention to what he called "the big picture with rites of the Incas". The systematic research of the painting began in the 1930s under the command of Paul Kosok and Reiche, Maria. Reiche govern the research in 1946 and from then until his death in 1998, she constantly called for protecting and preserving these drawings there. Her efforts finally succeeded with the UNESCO World Heritage list as a world heritage site in 1995. Since then, the number and quality of new pics from aircraft, satellites capture images that have increased a lot. The number of people interested in researching the artwork and the surrounding desert region, also more than we currently have are certain insights about this place as well as those who created them. For example, Cahuachi, a city where you can observe several Nazca, was spotted recently in the neighbouring hillsides. It was built from nearly 2,000 years ago and has remained a mysterious 500 years later. The artwork was created by digging up shingle layer iron oxide coating on the surface of the Nazca desert. When stone was dug away, the land is bright under the Groove which contrast with the next. There are hundreds of simple drawing lines and geometric patterns, more than seventy curves, shapes of animals, insects and the people on the Nazca plateau. The region contains the artwork almost 200 square miles, the largest figure and 900 feet long. The drawings also survive thanks to the extremely dry climate, no wind and temperature stability of the Nazca region. The Nazca desert is one of the driest regions in the world with temperatures around 25° C (77° F). The desert had little wind makes the artwork being sandy soil covered until now. Since the drawings were discovered, many theories have been put forward to explain building methods as well as the real engine of that action. Archaeological theory be accepted given that the Nazca people made up the picture with just the tools for simple instrumentation. The wooden columns on the ground in the tip of a number of straight lines (they also used the random dating type) support this hypothesis. Furthermore, Joe Nickell of the University of Kentucky has recreated one of the drawings by just using the techniques of the Nazca, when not appearing for the aircraft. With these simple techniques and a careful layout, a team consisting of few people can re-create the greatest drawing within 48 hours. However, there is not much evidence there is still explaining "why" these drawings were created, so the engine made by the Nazca mystery is currently the most difficult to answer. Most people believe that the real motive is religious, apparently creating the images just for the Saints in heaven to enjoy. However, the details of this hypothesis has yet to be answered fully. In summary the artwork has existed throughout the decades that did not yet have answers about the origins and uses of it. Yet it still exists as a puzzle waiting we decode it. But above all it has an intense suction power with those who preferred the occult, the arts or is science. Can I, you or someone to discover the mystery behind these images, but above all who read these lines on this thing like a mystical place a category on this.
