Criteria for admission to Graduate Studies at the University of Southern Indiana

Applicants must have an overall minimum undergraduate grade point average of 2.5

Applicants and students reapplying for admission to Graduate Studies must submit the following materials to the Graduate Studies office:

Graduate students, including degree seeking and non-degree seeking, who have not enrolled in a graduate course for one academic year (consecutive fall and spring semesters) must reapply to the Graduate Studies office and the specific program in which they were originally admitted

Pay the fee with a credit card online.
Print and mail the application fee form with a check.

Official transcripts in a sealed envelope from a certified National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) member
All official transcripts must have the course by course evaluation

Applicants who have taken coursework and/or received a degree from the University of Southern Indiana will not need to obtain an official USI transcript.
Official verification of English competency

The USI code for testing purposes is 1335

Submit an official (photocopy not acceptable) TOFEL or International English Language Testing System (ILETS) score report verifying a minimum total score of one of the following:

550 on the paper-based TOEFL (or
79 on the internet-based TOEFL, or
6 on the IELTS test
TOFEL and ILETS scores must be less than two years old
