Đồ án này đi vào tìm hiểu quá trình giao tiếp giữa các máy tính với nhau, cách thức truyền tải một đoạn text, một hình ảnh hay một file dữ liệu giữa chúng trong cùng một mạng LAN .Qua đó có thể phần nào xây dựng được một chương trình chat mà đáp ứng được một số yêu cầu tối thiểu của người sử dụng.Trong đồ án này cũng trình bày cơ bản về ngôn ngữ lập trình c#, lập trình mạng bằng ngôn ngữ c# cũng như phần mềm visual studio.
