Tháng 8/2014, Ban QLDA đã ký hợp đồng với Công ty TNHH Phân Phối Tin Học VLINK để thực hiện nhiệm vụ cung cấp 02 máy tính (01 máy chủ cơ sở dữ liệu và 01 máy trạm phục vụ tính toán). 02 máy tính này được mua với cấu hình theo yêu cầu kỹ thuật do DHI cung cấp.
DHI đã cung cấp một bộ phần mềm mô hình hóa (MIKE FLOOD 2D Overland + MIKE 1D Urban, Arc GIS, DIMS Core, dashboard manager, SQL Server).
Bộ phần mềm này đã được cài đặt lên các máy tính được mua trong dự án. Phần mềm và máy tính đã được chuyển giao cho Đài KTTV khu vực Đồng bằng Bắc Bộ để triển khai thực hiện và thử nghiệm công nghệ.
