Bệnh héo rũ (bacterial wilt) do vi khuẩn Ralstonia solanacearum (RS) gây ra, là một loại vi khuẩn có khả năng gây hại trên trên 200 loài cây trồng, đặc biệt là trên các cây họ cà như cà chua, cà tím, khoai tây, thuốc lá, ớt và các cây thuộc các họ khác như gừng, chuối, gây tổn thất nghiêm trọng cho nền sản xuất nông nghiệp.
