2. Tuyên bố lý do – giới thiệu đại biểu
Kính thưa đồng chí lãnh đạo, quý vị đại biểu và các em đội viên, học sinh thân mến!
Thực hiện chỉ đạo của Sở Giáo dục và Đào tạo Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh về Công tác xây dựng kế hoạch thực hiện đề án phổ cập và nâng cao năng lực sử dụng tiếng Anh cho học sinh phổ thông; thiết thực hưởng ứng chủ đề năm học 2015 – 2016 “Tự hào trang sử Đội, vững bước tiến lên Đoàn” của Đội Thiếu niên Tiền phong Hồ Chí Minh. Được sự hỗ trợ từ Trung tâm Anh ngữ Việt Mỹ VASS, Phòng Giáo dục và Đào tạo quận phối hợp với Ban Thường vụ Quận Đoàn Phú Nhuận, tổ chức hội thi “ Hùng biện tiếng Anh” bậc Tiểu học và Trung học cơ sở diễn ra từ ngày 02/11/2015 đến 05/12/2015.
Trải qua vòng sơ kết tại các trường, tuyển chọn 250 em tham gia vòng bán kết ngày 14/11/2015 cấp quận, hôm nay 12 thí sinh xuất sắc nhất của khối tiểu học và khối trung học cơ sở cùng tham gia tranh tài hùng biện trong vòng chung kết Hội thi Hùng biện tiếng Anh quận Phú Nhuận năm học 2015 – 2016.
Đó cũng chính là lý do chương trình sáng hôm nay.
