Người ta nói rằng, con quái vật Flatwoods là một trong số người ngoài hành tinh được phát hiện với chiếc UFO đang bay lơ lửng trên không trung nhưng cũng có có người nói chiếc UFO của nó đã hạ cánh trên mặt đất tại thị trấn Flatwoods, bang Braxton, phía tây Virginia vào ngày 12/9/1952.

Theo những gì ghi nhận được thì nó là một con quái vật vô cùng to lớn, cao ít nhất 3m. Khuôn mặt nó phát ra một ánh sáng màu đỏ trong khi cơ thể nó lại có màu xanh lục. Đầu nó như hình một trái tim hay con át cơ trong bộ bài và trên đó lồi ra hai cái mắt to tròn không phải là mắt con người.

Nhưng cơ thể thì có hình dạng khá giống con người trong bộ quần áo đen giống như một chiếc váy. Quái vật Flatwoods không có tay hoặc nếu có thì cánh tay ngắn, mập với những ngón tay như móng vuốt dài.
