Chất lượng của các yếu tố đầu vào có ảnh hưởng rất lớn đến chất lượng sản phẩm đầu ra. Tất cả các nhà cung ứng đều phải có chứng chỉ hành nghề hoặc đăng ký kinh doanh phù hợp với yêu cầu cần cung cấp, có đăng ký thuê với Nhà nước. Vật tư được cung ứng phải đảm bảo phù hợp với vật tư yêu cầu trong thiết kế.
