Bộ phim nói về chuyện tình đầy nước mắt của John và Savannah. Sau khi rời khỏi quân đội về thăm nhà, John đã gặp Savannah, một cô sinh viên đại học tuyệt đẹp nhưng lại cực kỳ bảo thủ.
