Hoạt động quan trắc được tiến hành kể từ khi Dự án khai thác vàng khu Hố Gần, mỏ vàng Bồng Miêu, tỉnh Quảng Nam được phê duyệt năm 2005. Kết quả quan trắc chất lượng các thành phần môi trường trong thời gian dài vừa qua, cho thấy: hoạt động của dự án không gây ảnh hưởng đến chất lượng các thành phần môi trường tự nhiên. Nhận thấy, dự án hiện nay đã đi vào hoạt động sản xuất ổn định, nên việc quan trắc các thành phần môi trường nước mặt, nước ngầm, không khí xung quanh, nồng độ hơi khí độc với tần suất 1 tháng/lần như hiện nay là không cần thiết. Đồng thời theo điểm 5.2 Chương 5 Phụ lục 2.5 về cấu trúc, nội dung của báo cáo đánh giá tác động môi trường ban hành theo Thông tư 26/2011/BTNMT của Bô Tài Nguyên môi trường quy định chi tiết một số điều của Nghị định số 29/2011/NĐ-CP của Chính phủ quy định về đánh giá tác động môi trường, cam kết bảo vệ môi trường chủ dự án phải thực hiện công tác giám sát môi trường định kỳ là: 6 tháng/1 lần đối với giám sát môi trường xung quanh; giám sát định kỳ chất thải với tần suất tối thiểu 3 tháng/1 lần vì vậy sự điều chỉnh của Công ty hoàn toàn vẫn tuân theo đúng các quy định của Pháp luật. Công ty TNHH khai thác vàng Bồng Miêu kính mong UBND tỉnh Quảng Nam và Sở TNMT tỉnh Quảng Nam xem xét, chấp thuận để công ty giảm tần suất quan trắc đối với các thành phần môi trường nước mặt, nước ngầm, nước thải, không khí xung quanh, nồng độ hơi khí độc, trầm tích
