Monsoon Music Festival là dự án phi lợi nhuận, tổ chức theo mô hình Lễ hội âm nhạc và văn hóa gắn với các thành phố văn hóa của thế giới. Các lễ hội này được tổ chức với mục đích giới thiệu và hòa nhập nghệ thuật đặc sắc giữa các quốc gia, các nền văn hóa. Đây là một sân chơi hội nhập của các nghệ sĩ Việt Nam với bạn bè quốc tế.
Monsoon là một lễ hội âm nhạc được kết hợp để tuyên truyền và khẳng định các thông điệp văn minh về lối sống tích cực, giá trị sống hiện đại của cộng đồng. Lễ hội được tổ chức thường niên vào tháng 10. Năm 2014 với chủ đề là "Môi trường". Năm 2015 là "Văn hóa ứng xử cộng đồng".
Mùa thu 2014, lần đầu tiên ở Hà Nội, chúng ta đã có một Lễ hội âm nhạc quốc tế thành công và gây được sự chú ý với truyền thông Việt Nam và Quốc tế. Lễ hội âm nhạc quốc tế Gió mùa đem đến công chúng âm nhạc Việt Nam những phong cách âm nhạc mới hiện đại, những gương mặt nghệ sĩ nổi tiếng đẳng cấp thế giới cũng như Việt Nam. Chương trình đã mang lại cho công chúng không khí sối động đúng nghĩa của một lễ hội âm nhạc chuyên nghiệp quốc tế, hình thành một sản phẩm văn hoá của cộng đồng và cho cộng đồng với chất lượng chuyên môn âm nhạc cao, kỹ thuật và kỹ năng tổ chức chuyên nghiệp quốc tế .
Monsoon 2014 đã được công chúng, truyền thông và giới chuyên môn đánh giá cao về mọi mặt. Tiếp tục hướng tới mục tiêu lâu dài - xây dựng một Lễ hội âm nhạc quốc tế có uy tín, đẳng cấp khu vực và quốc tế; cũng như xây dựng một thương hiệu và sản phẩm văn hoá cộng đồng của thủ đô Hà Nội; đóng góp và thúc đẩy sự phát triển đời sống âm nhạc Việt Nam; quảng bá hình ảnh Hà Nội – thành phố văn hoá truyền thống và hiện đại nói riêng, Việt Nam nói chung; cũng như thúc đẩy phát triển du lịch văn hoá. Đến hẹn lại lên, Monsoon 2015 lại chào đón những nghệ sĩ đẳng cấp thế giới và Việt Nam đến với công chúng yêu nhạc Việt Nam. Monsoon chờ đợi khán giả yêu nhạc Hà Nội- Việt Nam và bạn bè quốc tế. Chúng ta sẽ cùng hoà mình vào không gian âm nhạc sôi động, hiện đại, cởi mở và thân thiện.
