Theo dự báo của Ngân hàng Rabobank (Hà Lan) thị trường sữa thế giới sẽ

bước vào giai đoạn khan hiếm nguồn cung trong 12 tháng tới do giá sữa gần đây

giảm thấp, chi phí thức ăn chăn nuôi cao và thời tiết bất lợi sẽ khiến sản lượng sữa

ở những khu vực xuất khẩu tăng chậm lại.

Theo báo cáo ngắn hạn, mặt hàng sữa tại EU dự kiến sẽ tăng 1.2% trong năm

2013. Năng suất trung bình tăng lên 6.394 lít vào năm 2012. Trong khi đó phía nhu

cầu, các thị trường EU và Hoa Kỳ vẫn trong giai đoạn tăng tiêu thụ vừa phải. Nhu

cầu ở những khu vực nhập khẩu khác trong thời gian tới cũng sẽ không tăng mạnh.
