Nói tóm lại các khái niệm ngữ pháp thường mang tính phạm trù là như vậy. Tuy nhiên, một khái niệm ngữ pháp không chỉ được khái quát hoá và thể hiện từ bình diện nội dung. Các khái niệm này cũng được cụ thể hoá trên bình diện hình thức bằng một dạng thức riêng biệt trong mỗi một ngôn ngữ. Chẳng hạn, danh từ trong tiếng Anh được thể hiện gắn với một mạo từ (Article): a, an, the; còn trong tiếng Pháp được thể hiện bằng: le, la, les...; trong tiếng Việt thì được thể hiện một danh từ chỉ đơn vị: con, cái, chiếc... ( Có nhà nghiên cứu xem con, cái, chiếc... như mạo từ, nhưng chúng tôi không nhìn nhận như vậy, vì tính chất độc lập khá rõ của lớp từ này.
